New counsel for Rockefeller Grp.

Gwen A. Rowden has been appointed vice president and general counsel for The Rockefeller Group CRGI).

In addition to her position as general counsel, Rowden will continue to hold the titles of vice president of Rockefeller Center Development Corporation and Rockefeller Center Management Corporation, both subsidiaries of The Rockefeller Group. Prior to this appointment Rowden served the company as associate general counsel.

Rowden joined The Rockefeller Group in 1987. Prior to that, she was an associate in the New York City law firm of Gelberg & Abrams. She holds a BA from Brown University and a JD from the University of Michigan School of Law, as well as an LL.M. in taxation from New York University School of Law.
