New comparison service for mobiles launched by


A comparison shopping service enabling online shoppers to compare prices of mobile phone handsets and operator price plans was launched on Tuesday (4 October) by

The Cell Phones, Plans & Accessories Channel, which was built in conjunction with US online wireless phone and service plan provider InPhonic Inc, enables users to shop online and compare phones and carriers based on shoppers' criteria, the company said.

According to TechWeb, users of the site are able to specify selections including national or local coverage, select from a range of plan minutes, and examine mobile phone options from each carrier.
