Third Sector Dumfries and Galloway has appointed a new chief executive officer.

She was born and brought up in Dumfries and is a former chief executive of the region's tourist board.
Norma moved to Edinburgh more than a decade ago and was elected to the city council on a Labour ticket.
She served on the City of Edinburgh Council for 10 years and had responsibility for culture and sports services.
