New certification option available.

College and university faculty now may choose the administrative verification option to complete the validation portion of the MTNA Professional Certification process. This option allows faculty to easily use the evaluation processes and credentials in their college or university to meet the requirements for becoming a Nationally Certified Teacher of Music. The addition of the administrative verification option gives certification candidates three alternatives to complete the certification process.

For more detailed information about this new option, see the Certification column on page 66.
