New art gallery 'Arcade' established at local hotel.

ISLAMABAD -- A local hotel in Islamabad opened its doors to a new art gallery by the name of 'Artcade', with Zainab Omar as the founder and curator.

Artcade and the hotel are committed to supporting and promoting Pakistani arts and artisans, particularly young emerging artists by making their work more accessible to a diverse local and international public -thus encouraging and promoting contemporary artists and increasing the visibility of previously undiscovered artists, said a statement issued here on Friday.

The artwork of emerging artists including Khushbakht Soomro, Hala Nasir, Ayat Tanveer, Kainat Qadir from Hyderabad, Sana Khalid, Ahsen Domki, Hussain Jamil, Simran Shaikh, Kashaf Duja, Zainab Raza, Abbas Saleem, and Adnan Khan were displayed at the newly art gallery.

The displayed artworks included finished with watercolour on wasli paper, thread on board, miniatures and pointillism among other techniques.
