New and Extended Solutions to be Unveiled at Descartes Global User Group Conference.

WATERLOO, Ontario -- March 21st and 22nd Conference in Atlanta to Highlight Advances in Descartes' Solutions

The Descartes Systems Group Inc. (TSX:DSG)(NASDAQ:DSGX), a leading provider of on-demand, software-as-a-service (SaaS) delivery management solutions and services for transportation, logistics, manufacturing, retail, distribution and service provider enterprises, today announced that the company will unveil new solutions and extensions to the Descartes Delivery Management(TM) suite and Descartes Global Logistics Network(TM) (GLN) at its annual Global User Group Conference, taking place in Atlanta on March 21st and 22nd, 2006.

Some of the advancements scheduled to be presented at the 2006 Descartes Global User Group Conference include:

- Descartes Dock Appointment Scheduling(TM) , developed in response to the needs of a leading retailer, is a new solution based upon Descartes Visibility & Event Management(TM) that allows retailers, manufacturers and distributors to synchronize the flow of inbound shipments with their suppliers and related carriers;

- Descartes Transport Order Entry(TM) has been extended with input from a leading security services company to streamline manual and automated order entry for private fleets and contract carriers;

- Hours of Service Compliance Planning, developed in response to the needs of a leading building material distributor and a leading furniture manufacturer, is an extension of Descartes' Route Planner(TM), designed to create route plans that adhere to hours of service regulations in Europe and the United States of America;

- Resource Management Templates, developed in response to the needs of a leading building material distributor, is a Descartes Route Planner extension designed to facilitate the creation of driver and other resources used during the pick-up and delivery process;

- Descartes Ocean Freight Audit(TM), created at the request of a leading third-party logistics provider (3PL), is a new GLN service offering based upon Descartes' Rate Management(TM) solution, designed to allow third party logistics providers (3PLs), freight forwarders, non-vessel operating common carriers (NVOCCs), manufacturers, distributors and retailers to automatically rate their ocean freight bills;

- Descartes Truck Freight Audit(TM), developed at the request of a leading 3PL and a leading manufacturer, is a new GLN service offering based upon Descartes' Transportation Manager(TM) solution, designed to allow 3PLs, freight forwarders, manufacturers, distributors and retailers to automatically rate their truck-load and less-than-truckload freight bills;

- "Buy/Sell" Ocean Rate Management, developed to address challenges faced by a leading ocean carrier, is an extension of Descartes' Rate Management solution, designed to allow NVOCCs, freight forwarders and 3PLs to easily maintain their ocean carrier purchase prices and the rates they charge their customers; and

- Descartes eForms(TM), developed at the request of a leading freight forwarder, is a new email-based forms service for the GLN, designed to allow less technologically sophisticated transportation carriers and manufacturers to easily transmit or receive messages through the GLN.
