New analyzer features serial triggering.

Two optimized ranges of instruments have been introduced based on the company's DPO7000 oscilloscopes. The DPO70000 Series Oscilloscopes are available in three versions: the 4 GHz DPO70404, the 6 GHz DPO70604, and the 8 GHz DPO70804, each with simultaneous 25-GS/s sampling on all four channels. Typically, the scope rise time is 35 ps, jitter noise floor is 400 fs rms, and more than 250,000 waveforms/s can be captured. Standard memory length is 10M per channel.


The DSA70000 Digital Serial Analyzer also is available in 4-, 6-, or 8-GHz bandwidths but has 20M memory standard per channel and serial pattern triggering at up to 3.125 Gb/s with 8-b/10-b protocol decoding. These analyzers are intended for work with PCI-Express, SATA, and XAUI where the 8-GHz DSA70804 can capture the fifth harmonic of the highest clock frequency. Features include software clock recovery, RT-Eye[R] Serial Compliance and Analysis Software, and an integrated total jitter measurement capability.

Both instrument series support up to 100M memory per channel. Other features include a 12.1" XGA display, the MyScope[TM] user interface, and Pinpoint[R] A/B triggering. Tektronix,
