New York beer Expo announced.

The first New York Beer Expo is scheduled to take place October 1st, 1993 at the Javits Center.

According to event organizers, the Expo will enable people to enhance their knowledge and appreciation of beer as they get to sample a wide range of brews not commonly known in this market but now becoming available.

These will include offerings from microbrewers and from importers representing breweries around the world.

The Expo will run from 3:00 P.M. to 11:00 P.M., and tickets are priced at $25.00.
