The Westin St. Maarten Dawn Beach Resort & Spa, opened Jan. 22, includes 317 rooms, 99 condos and 6 suites, a spa, fitness room, casino, 20,000 sq ft of function space, shops, restaurants, water sports. It is built on the former site of the Dawn Beach Hotel, leveled by Hurricanes Luis and Marilyn in 1995. Westin is owned, managed and operated by US entrepreneur William Yung.
