New United Airlines announce new visual brand identity.
United Airlines (NASDAQ:UAUA) and Continental Airlines (NYSE:CAL) yesterday announced refinements to the visual branding for the global airline, which will result from the proposed merger of the two airlines.
The new logo displays the combined company brand in capital letters, UNITED, in a custom font combined with the global mark from Continental's brand image, used since 1991.
The new visual identity is designed to build upon the significant value of each airline's current brand while advancing the new combined airline's brand image for the future.
