NexTemp[TM] Thermometers Chosen by Red Cross and America's Blood Centers

Medical Indicators, Inc., pioneers of the popular new NexTemp[TM] and TraxIt[TM] thermometry systems, continues to capture market share with a contract to supply thermometers to 39 National Red Cross offices, which administer the United States Community Blood Donation and Distribution Program.

The contract was awarded after nearly a year of testing and examination of the advanced phase-change thermometers by selected Red Cross chapters. The highly accurate NexTemp instruments require no special refrigerated storage and contain no mercury or other toxic substances. They require no probe covers, batteries, or calibration to assure accuracy.

Medical Indicators also reported signing a similar agreement with the nation's other premier blood donation entity, America's Blood Centers.
