New Miller Reserve markets announced

Miller Brewing Co. introduced Miller Reserve and Miller Reserve Light into new test markets last week. The brands will now be available in Denver and northern Colorado, as well as Knoxville, TN, the Milwaukee-based company announced.

"We are confident beer drinkers in these areas will enjoy the bold distinctive, fresh taste of Miller Reserve and Reserve Light," noted Jeff Rea, Miller's new products category director. "The result is a bold, yet incredibly smooth-tasting beer.

"For centuries, barley has been the highest quality, most traditional ingredient for making beer," Rea continued. "Miller's commitment to uncompromising quality and product innovation enables us to produce a beer the way great beers used to be made with the taste discerning beer drinkers enjoy today."

Miller Reserve was introduced in May 1990 in Rhode Island; Connecticut; Richmond, VA; and Atlanta. Miller Reserve Light was launched later that year in October. The newest introduction of Miller Reserve ends the brands' marketing in the initial test markets, Rea said.

"These new test markets will provide us with additional information from other areas of the country," Rea concluded.
