New Magazine for Paralegals in July.

Know Magazine, Inc. (New York) will begin the publication of "Know: The Magazine for Paralegals" with an issue in early July. The new title will be published six times a year and will have a mostly-paid circulation of 10,000 paralegals at major, mid-size and small law firms, Fortune 100-1000 corporate legal departments, government agencies and non-profit organizations, including those with responsibility for purchasing decisions in such areas as depositions, e-discovery, litigation support, office supplies, travel, and electronics and software. An annual subscription costs $35.

The company said the publication will carry information on how to balance work and related responsibilities with lifestyle. Initial editorial will include stories and articles on: former paralegals in the entertainment industry; networking; dealing with a male-dominated culture; new case law that affects the paralegal field; best practices for litigation support managers; race relations; and, overtime.

Regular columns will cover new technologies, events and developments in the paralegal field, career advice, relevant books and information resources, dealing with stress, paralegals working in the UK, e-discovery, investigative techniques, compliance, and corporate relations. An accompanying e-newsletter to cover developing news will be published monthly.

The company said the magazine "comes at an ideal time and delivers tools, tactics and strategies along with inspiring stories to support paralegals in their quest for a more balanced life."
