New KMe coolers save 50%.
The new standard 400mm, 1,400rpm fanset also saves space, so the KMe units' rugged powder coated galvanised steel cases are shallower than the KM series they replace.
The Eurovent certified KMe range consists of seven basic models with numerous options. All models are offered with 4mm, 6mm or 8mm fin spacing, HCFC, glycol or CO2 refrigerants, single phase or three phase power, and a choice of electric or hot gas defrost systems. Axial fans can be fitted in place of the standard fansets where increased air throw is required.
All units feature the unique Searle 'D' fin, specially developed for refrigeration--a 0.5" diameter tube with an extended 'rifle bore' inner surface. This maximises performance, providing high efficiency heat transfer and a secondary surface for frost deposits, to extend periods between defrosts. Fins can be aluminium, vinyl coated aluminium, copper or electro-tinned copper.
Coils have total surface areas (at 8mm fin spacing) from 19.93m2 (KMe50) to 70.85m2 (KMe175) and 37.81m2 to 134.44m2 with 4mm spacing. The KMe50 and KMe60 have single fans with a noise level of 60dB(A). Larger units have two, three or four fans, the largest producing just 66dB(A).
Other options include a guard system to prevent accidental damage from forklift trucks and similar equipment when the KMe coolers are sited at low level. Optional fan plate heaters prevent blade contact with frost build-up at low temperatures.
Searle's Selection Software enables the specifier to pick the best combination for each application. The software is available on CD from Searle representatives, and can be downloaded.
