New Chordmaster software for Palm from Planet Waves.

J. D'Addario & Co., Inc., P.O. Box 290, Farmingdale, NY 11735; $19.99.

The Planet Waves Chordmaster, a hand-held chord computer containing more than 4,500 guitar chords, is now available as software for Palm products.

The Chordmaster Palm software is identical to the original Chordmaster, showing chord voicing, notes, fret positions, variants and more, for both left-and right-hand players. The original Chordmaster has a touch screen; the Palm software lets users utilize the Palm's screen as they would with any other Palm program, and of course, it still fits in the palm of one's hand and can be taken anywhere. The readout is bright and easy to see.

A free trial of Chordmaster for Palm is available for download at
