Nevada Manhattan Mining Inc. makes announcement.

CALABASAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 26, 1996--Management for Nevada Manhattan Mining Inc. (OTC:NVMH) Tuesday confirmed that existing permits for its gold mine in Manhattan, Nev., have been expanded to include the development of three near-surface targets.

Three small open pits have been engineered to complement the ore now being developed from underground operations. Nevada Division of Environmental Protection (N.D.E.P.) approved this plan, which lies within the initial five-acre plan previously approved by N.D.E.P.

The pit areas were discovered by Arthur Mendenhall, project geologist for the company's Manhattan mine.

Jeffrey Kramer, COO, NVMH, stated: "Additional targets are now being explored based on the success of Mr. Mendenhall's findings. Without confirmation, we are optimistic that additional near-surface targets can be developed to enhance our production capability for 1997."
