Neustrom named legendary guide.

Longtime Walleye In-Sider contributor and friend Tom Neustrom has been inducted into the National Fresh Water Fishing Hall of Fame as a Legendary Guide. A soft-spoken Chicago native, Neustrom, 60, developed a love of fishing early and began guiding on Wisconsin's Lake Geneva in 1978. He eventually moved to Grand Rapids, Minnesota, where he runs multispecies trips on area lakes. "Tom is a pioneer in a variety of walleye-fishing techniques and a wonderful ambassador for the fishing industry," says Walleye In-Sider Editor Dan Johnson. "His nomination into the Hall is well-deserved." Neustrom may be reached at 218/327-2312, or via the website mnfishingconnections.com. Located in Hayward, Wisconsin, the Hall of Fame (freshwater-fishing.org) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to conservation, fishing, and recognition of those who have made significant contributions to the sport.
