Network365 and iPIN to merge.

Payment technology solutions providers Network365 and iPIN have announced that the two companies are to merge and form a new company in the payments technology market.

The combined company will be called Valista and will bring together Network365's Japanese and Asian operations with European and US operations from iPIN. The agreement will reportedly improve both companies' standing in the payments technology market. Network365 and iPIN will combine their product portfolios.

The merger has been approved by both boards of directors and is expected to be completed by January 2004.

No financial information was disclosed.
