Network Peripherals Inc. announces public offering.

MILPITAS, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nov. 3, 1994--Network Peripherals Inc. (NASDAQ: NPIX) announced that the registration statement for the public offering of 2,400,000 shares of its common stock was declared effective by the SEC on Nov. 2, 1994, and that those additional shares have begun to trade on the NASDAQ National Market System under the trading symbol NPIX.

The offering consisted of 1,250,000 shares sold by the company and 1,150,000 shares sold by certain selling stockholders. The public offering price was $22.25 and, at the closing, the offering is expected to result in net proceeds to the company of approximately $26,038,000.

Lehman Brothers and Smith Barney Inc. co-managed the offering.
