Netterville nominated as AICPA chairman.

Jake L. Netterville, managing partner of Postlethwaite & Netterville, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, was nominated as AICPA chairman of the board of directors. He will take office this fall at the AICPA annual meeting in Washington, D.C., immediately preceding the World Congress of Accountants (October 11-14).

Netterville, vice-chairman of the AICPA board, is a past chairman of the Institute's management of an accounting practice committee and member of the special committee on mandatory continuing professional education.

Dominic A. Tarantino, cochairman and managing partner of Price Waterhouse in the United States, was nominated to serve as AICPA vice-chairman. A member of the AICPA board of directors and its finance committee, Tarantino is president of the Accounting Research Association, Inc.
