PASADENA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 12, 2000 (NASDAQ:GOTO), the company that provides e-commerce services to Web site partners, today announced the extension of an agreement with Netscape Communications, a subsidiary of America Online, Inc. Specifically, GoTo Shopping will be a distinguished provider on the Net Search page in its Shop & Buy section, where Netscape users can link to GoTo to compare thousands of products and hundreds of merchants in a single location.

"Our relationship with GoTo has proven to be a very successful partnership, and we look forward to continuing that relationship," said Jim Martin, senior vice president and general manager of Netscape Netcenter. "Search is a crucial component of our consumer offering and we feel that GoTo's continued role as a Premier Search Provider significantly enhances the Net Search program for the benefit of the over 31 million registered users of Netscape Netcenter and those who use the Netscape Communicator browser."
