ATLANTA, July 10 /PRNewswire/ --

NetVendor, a leading provider of collaborative, business-to-business (B2B) sell-side software solutions and services, today announced that Leigh Orlov has been hired as senior vice president (SVP) of worldwide field operations. In this capacity, Orlov will lead and manage all sales and marketing functions within the company.

"After a thorough search, I am pleased to announce that Leigh Orlov has joined NetVendor's executive team as senior vice president of worldwide field operations," said Sean McCloskey, president and CEO of NetVendor. "Leigh has a very proven track record of building sales organizations and achieving sales quotas quarter-on-quarter. He has built his skill set and his overall understanding of the B2B marketplace with some of the most premier companies in the business."

Orlov has over fifteen years of sales and management experience and comes to NetVendor from Neoforma, Inc., based in San Jose, Ca., where he served as SVP of Sales & Services. At Neoforma, Orlov was responsible for managing sales, implementation services and strategic partnerships, with ultimate responsibility for all revenue generation. Orlov developed and managed Neoforma's partnerships with i2, Ariba, SAP, PeopleSoft, Lawson Software, Cisco, Healtheon/WebMD and Cap Gemini E&Y. Additionally, Orlov was a key driver in positioning the company for its initial public offering (IPO).

"I welcome the opportunity to be part of NetVendor during this stage in its development, particularly as we enter a high growth phase for sell-side e-commerce vendors," said Orlov. "With customers like Teradyne, Leggett & Platt, HEIL and others, NetVendor has established marquee accounts in its chosen verticals of electronics, industrial, automotive and aerospace. My job will be to drive NetVendor's success further into these verticals and into other anchor accounts."
