NetBeat selects iPIN's payment technology for music web site.

TELECOMWORLDWIRE-9 August 2000-NetBeat selects iPIN's payment technology for music web site (C)1994-2000 M2 COMMUNICATIONS LTD

Online music distribution firm NetBeat has partnered with web-based payment systems provider iPIN to offer an easy global method for buying downloadable and CD-based music on the Internet.

Under the agreement consumers visiting NetBeat's web site, which features hard-to-find music from independent labels, will be able to use iPIN's online payment technology to purchase music files and CDs downloaded from the Internet.

Payments via the iPIN service work much like a purchase with a bank debit card, with consumers typing in their iPIN password and the purchase showing up on an iPIN designated bill.
