ANAHEIM, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 13, 2000

Neopost Online, a pioneer of Internet-based mailing and shipping solutions, is showcasing its revolutionary PC Postage technology, SnapStamps(TM), today at the World Stamp Expo in Anaheim, California.

Chief Technology Officer of Neopost Online, JP Leon, explains, "Since SnapStamps does not require additional software, hardware, a meter license or set up fees, it is the first PC Postage solution capable of delivering postage instantly to any computer connected to the Internet." The product will be scheduled for launch, pending approval from the United States Postal Service.

SnapStamps provides a technology that offers a fast and simple way to purchase postage over the Internet. Users simply log onto a secure Web site, enter their credit card number, insert a USPS-approved sheet of secure self-adhesive label stock (patent pending) and print SnapStamps. Multiple SnapStamps can be printed simultaneously. Envelopes and packages can be mailed from anywhere in the country, on any day, with SnapStamps.

"Current PC Postage products opened the door to changing the way the American public buys postage," says David Crisp, CEO of Neopost Online. "We have always said there would be further development in this field. SnapStamps is the next generation technology. SnapStamps makes it really simple and convenient to buy postage online from any computer anytime. It is like putting a virtual post office on your desktop. This is Internet postage as it should be."

Neopost Online is awaiting USPS approval for its new technology. SnapStamps expands the company's existing Simply Postage product line. PROmail(R) was launched in April 2000. Later this year, Neopost Online plans to introduce other Internet-based mailing and shipping products.
