Nelson named 'Most Promising Rookie Salesperson of the Year'.
Nelson has been with Massey Knakal since he graduated from Colgate University in 1998, where he was a nationally ranked N.C.A.A. Division I swimmer and captain of the university's swimming team. In the past two years, he has been involved in more than 20 property sales, primarily in Chelsea and Greenwich Village, with an aggregate value of approximately $100 million.
Nelson has also been an adjunct professor at New York University's continuing education program, a panelist at Real Estate Board seminars, a member of the Chelsea Preservation and Planning Committee, and a volunteer at Louise Wise Services, a foster care agency in Harlem.
REBNY president Steven Spinola said, "Our 'Most Promising Salesperson of the Year' Award calls attention to the talented men and women joining the profession. In the future, these Real Estate Board members are certain to play increasingly significant roles in building and serving New York, the Real Estate Board's mission for over a century."
