Necessary equipments, furniture to NWA HQ hospital provided.

Peshawar, September 04, 2009 (Frontier Star): Political Administration of North Waziristan has provided necessary equipments and furniture to the Agency Headquarter hospital North Waziristan at a cost of 3.8 Million as prioritized by the Agency Surgeon and Political Agent. Thousands of people, who had been struggling pillar to post for treatment, of the locality will now have access to better health care services, says a press release issued by FATA secretariat. One Hundred and Twenty Hospital Staff including forty doctors will also benefit from this facility. Press release further said that the state of healthcare sector in North Waziristan was in decay due to the destruction of government facilities by insurgents. Addressing in the handover ceremony the political agent said that "this procurement activity has improved the quality of care and increased the number of patients that this government hospital now can accommodate" Local elders and people have expressed satisfaction over providing necessary equipments to Agency Headquarter Hospital and hoped that now the patients will get better treatment at their door steps and will get rid of going to other cities for treatment. Press release further added that to increase the efficiency of the staff and ensure smooth and swift public dealing, the FATA Secretariat has provided essential office supplies to the newly constructed office of APA of North Waziristan in Miranshah. This will strengthen the writ of the Political Administration of North Waziristan by helping the political administration better respond to the needs of the community.
