Neat ...and not so neat.

VISITORS to Guisborough would admire the lovely lawns around the council offices.

They are cut so neatly, not a blade out of place. The council must be pleased as punch as they have tea and bickies at break time.

But if the visitors to Guisborough were to travel down the road to Stump Cross OAP bungalows they would see a different kind of grass cutting.

The grass gets to six or seven inches long and the contractors get to work cutting it and leave rafts of cut grass all over the place.

It should be raked into heaps and taken away, but they couldn't do that, after all they're only OAP and council tenants.

The council couldn't care less if the place looks like a tip. I think the tenants deserve better.
