Nawaz expresses dissatisfaction on implementation of 10-point agenda.

ISLAMABAD, February 09, 2011 (Frontier Star): PML-Ns Quaid Nawaz Sharif Tuesday said his 10-point reforms agenda was a not based on personal interests but it was a guideline and foundation for the good governance in country might be laid. He articulated these thoughts while addressing to partys high level consultation meeting here in Punjab House Islamabad where he also expressed his grave disappointment pertaining to progress in implementation of 10-point interim agenda. Raja Zafar ul Haq, Iqbal Zafar Jhagra, Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan, Ishaq Dar, Sardar Mehtab Ahmed Khan, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, Khawaja Saad Rafiq, Pervez Rasheed, Abdul Qadir Baloch and other party leaders attended the meeting. Senator Ishaq Dar and other PML-N members of implementation committee briefed the party leadership about the progress so far made. Nawaz Sharif said right direction to economy can be given and corruption be confiscated with the implementation of this interim agenda. He further said government may create added opportunities for employment and other crises that we are facing in education, inflation and health grounds can also be exterminated. Nawaz Sharif said we contended for good news, but facts are unlikely to our wishes and no ray of hope has come out yet. He said PML-N exhausted the best expertise in presenting our recommendations, precious time and devotions to work with government team for its implementation, but now have come to conclusion that we have wasted our efforts. During the meeting, he directed the four-member committee to uncompromisingly try to convince government for the implementation of interim agenda. He stressed on government to fulfil its responsibilities so masses might benefit from the fruits of democracy. Later while talking to delegation of Air League, he said PML-N has already extended its recommendations pertaining to transforming the corporations including PIA into profit oriented organizations. He reiterated that we have realized to government to yield profit from these white elephants, government must ensure the appointment of eligible and professional dignitaries. He also stressed Air League to play its role to help resolving the issues of PIA.
