ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 19, 1998--

Council members will represent NSC channel to voice

opinions and concerns

In Brief:

Navision Solution Center Advisory Council

created to discuss product positioning,

marketing, and technical and support issues

Navision Software US, a worldwide leading provider of enterprise business solutions, has formed an advisory council that serves as an outlet for its solution centers to voice their opinions and concerns and to give feedback on issues pertaining to business partnerships.

"We ask for and receive feedback continually from our Navision Solution Centers, and the advisory council will allow us to gather this strategic input from our partners and together decide how best to enhance our collective businesses," said Mike O'Brien, channel manager for Navision Software US.

The purpose of the advisory council is to answer questions and hear suggestions from the solution centers on Navision's direction, including product positioning, target markets, channel marketing programs, training and support. Also, it will provide feedback on Navision-created programs such as the Navision Academy and NaviFunds. The Navision Academy is an intensive training program that provides complete training in Navision Software products. NaviFunds is a co-op account used by the channel partners to help pay for local marketing efforts.

The charter members of the Navision Solution Center Advisory Council are: Jim Hollcraft, Accounting Software Professionals, Portland, Ore.; Terry Murphy, GEMKO Information Systems, Buffalo, N.Y.; Kathy Nohr, Nohr & Associates, Ann Arbor, Mich.; Debbie Shepard, Shepard & Associates, Shawnee Mission, Kan.; Rick Baxter, Computer Counselors, Indianapolis, Ind.; Brad Dreisbach, MITB, Sunnyvale, Calif.; and Niels Ammendrup, TAB US, Orlando, Fla.

Council members were chosen based on criteria that ensure equal representation across the US, including geographic location, partner size and the length of time as a certified Navision Solution Center. The members represent a mix of marketing and technical strengths.

Members of the Navision Solution Center Advisory Council will participate in regular meetings in Atlanta throughout the year. To ensure that each geographic region is represented throughout each of the channel partners' one- to two-year term, Navision Software will rotate members periodically. The council will always seat seven members.

"Navision has always been a company responsive to the needs of its reseller channel and effective in responding to feedback," said Kathy Nohr, Nohr & Associates, Inc. "I applaud Navision for taking the extra step in creating an advisory board to represent us and further encourage communication between the channel and corporate headquarters. Our unique channel structure is based on a strong partner relationship between Navision and its solution centers. The creation of the advisory board is yet another visible embodiment of the company's commitment to its channel."
