Navigators Adds UK Property Team.

NEW YORK -- The Navigators Group, Inc. (NASDAQ:NAVG) today announced that it had acquired the expertise of a UK-based property team to grow its specialty business lines in the UK and Europe. The new team, headed by Stephen Snook, will be based in the Lloyd's building in London, and will focus primarily on UK property-related commercial lines in targeted business sectors.

Stephen Snook has joined Navigators with David Fitzgerald, Stephen Baker and Adam Trew, from Markel. Stephen is a recognized leader and expert in niche property sectors, and has extensive industry experience in the UK and London market.

Stan Galanski, Chief Executive Officer of Navigators, said, "Navigators continues to identify market niches which will bring value to our business.
