Nature's Resounding Fear.
Nature's Resounding Fear Ever notice how easy it is For us to quickly destroy Things in our environment Created thousands of years before? Our world no longer breathes in peace Her waters are clean no more Pollutants infest her nostrils Slick-black has become her shores. For what reason does this all take place? What is it we so relentlessly seek? Is it wealth, greed or perhaps prestige ... Or to fill some insignificant need? Humankind controls its own fate That is to a certain degree. Nature screams out for help! We must eradicate our harmful deeds. I hear Nature's voice among scanty trees And say a silent prayer For being one with her I sense Her resounding fears That if we continue along this path Indeed we'll seal our fate For mass destruction and loss of life Won't easily be replaced
