Nationally Recognized Workers' Compensation Firm, RTW, Opens Office in Michigan

SOUTHFIELD, Mich., Nov. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- RTW, Inc. (Nasdaq: RTWI), an innovative and fast-growing company providing services which enable employers to better control the costs and effectiveness of workers' compensation programs, announced today the opening of its Michigan office in Southfield. Due primarily to high workers' compensation benefits in Michigan, RTW saw how businesses in the state could benefit from its cost-cutting services and programs.

"We're excited to introduce RTW's unique program to the Michigan workers' compensation market," said Alex Fjelstad, chief operating officer of RTW. "Even with the high level of workers' compensation benefits in Michigan, the RTW program will -- as it has for more than 10 years in Minnesota, Missouri, and Colorado -- reduce workers' compensation costs for Michigan clients by as much as 50 percent. The beneficiaries of RTW services and savings span the manufacturing, healthcare, automotive, hospitality and wholesale/retail sectors of our economy."

RTW's comprehensive approach to workers' compensation case management results in effective communication among all participants involved in a workers' compensation case -- employers, injured employees, medical care providers, the legal system, and the insurer. This is anchored by a strong return-to-work philosophy -- allowing the injured employee to gradually return to work by placing him or her in a position which takes into account the on-the-job injury.

RTW, Inc. combines its management system, which it calls the RTW SOLUTION(TM), with insurance products underwritten by RTW's wholly owned subsidiary, American Compensation Insurance Company.
