National Tennis Championship: Zain, Abdullah move in semi-finals.

KARACHI -- Zain Ehtisham and Abdullah Khan qualified for semi-finals for the under-10 singles and U-12 Singles in the 4th Essa Lab Open National Tennis championship that entered the 4th day on Friday at the hard courts of Karachi Gymkhana.

Zain Ehtisham moved in semi-final by beating Kirtan Mukesh by 8-2 in U-10 singles and Abdullah Khan also qualified for semi-final by defeating Hammad Khan in u-12 singles in the championship.

The prestigious week long championship, organized by Sindh Tennis Association (STA), is being sponsored by Dr. Essa Laboratory & Diagnostic Center Karachi. Championship carries cash prizes of Rs.100,000.

Friday's Results:

Abdul Samad Arejo qualified for quarter-finals by beating Asad Bachini (HYD) by 6-0, 6-4 in U-16 Singles in national Tennis Championship.

In Men Singles, Farhan Rehman qualified for quarter-finals by winning against Waqas by 6-0, 6-0 and in same way, Abdul Rehman qualified for quarter-final against Abdullah Khan by 6-1, 6-0 in the championship.

Aqeel Shabbir and Ibrahim Iltifat qualified for quarter-final in Men Singles by beating Wasel Raza and Murad Khan by 6-3, 6-3 and 6 -3, 6 - 2 respectively in the championship.
