National Retailer of Premium Cards, Papers and Gifts Opens; Stores In San Francisco Centre and Old Town, Los Gatos.

OAKLAND, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 2, 1999--

PAPYRUS, the premier retailer of fine cards, papers and gifts, introduced its "award winning" new store concept in its newly remodeled location at San Francisco Centre on June 18 and will today at Old Town, Los Gatos. The new store design will capitalize on the company's recognized strengths: providing products of superior quality, diversity and taste and help make shopping more compatible with the lifestyle of today's customer.

PAPYRUS is known for its unique and distinctive greeting cards as well as its elegant gift wrap, ribbon and personalized printing services. The new PAPYRUS design will now clearly define these areas with different color schemes and architecture. The new layout of the store will not only add focus to the services PAPYRUS provides--namely, greeting cards, giftwrap and personalized printing services--but will allow the customer the ability to quickly and easily find the area of their need.

Personalized printing--a key aspect of PAPYRUS's business, serves to link the store and the community by assisting them through life's most important events.
