National Group for Human Rights Participates in AU Summit in Kigali.

Khartoum, July.13 (SUNA) - The National Group for Human Rights will participate in 27th session of the AU Summit which is scheduled to be held in Kigali, Ruanda, during the 17th-18th of current July . A delegation headed by the Group Chairman, Ibrahim Abdul Halim has left early today, Wednesday to the Ruanda capital . The Deputy Chairman of the Group, Mohammed Al-Hassan Ahmed has told SUNA that the summit convents under the motto'2016 the Human Rights Year' . He indicated that the motto of the Summit was recommended by the African Committee for Human Rights and African Court for Human Rights to celebrate the ratification of the African Charter for Human Rights . He emphasized that the National Group for Human Right swill organize, on the side-lines of the summit, a symposium on the impacts of the economic sanctions imposed on Sudan and the implications of the so-called International Criminal Court (ICC) .
