Nanto Bank debuts in NYC

The Nanto Bank, Ltd. has established a New York representative office at Two World Financial Center, reports Joseph Hilton & Associates (JH&A), exclusive real estate brokers for the deal.

The Nanto Bank is a regional bank based in Nara, Japan, according to JH&A executive vice president Mariyon I. Robertson and assistant vice president Michael F. Macrae, who arranged the five-year transaction.

The Nanto Bank, Ltd., enjoys a high reputation as one of the most profitable and best-managed banks in Japan, notes Keiji Moriura, Nanto Bank general manager, International Division.

Jonathan Coven represented the owner, Olympia & York. Takenaka International (USA) Ltd. was interior designer for the space.
