Nant are handed Cefni cup challenge.

NORTH WALES CUP NORTH Wales Senior Cup holders Nant Conwy have been handed a tricky tie in the second round of the competition after being drawn against Llangefni.

The draw for the competition was made on Monday at the WRU offices, under the watchful gaze of witness Godfrey Edwards and pits Elwyn Williams' charges in a two legged tie against the islanders.

The matches will once again be home and away ties, with the winners being decided on an aggregate score, with all ties to be completed by February 28.

Pwllheli have been handed a tough two legged tie against Ruthin in the second round of the cup.

Caernarfon, who are flying in Division One North, will be confident after being drawn against Division Two North (Northern) leaders Bethesda.

Bro Ffestiniog will have to overcome Division Two North (Southern) side Dolgellau in their second leg first as they bid to face Mold in the second round of the competition.

Should Bro slip to defeat over their two leg clash with Dolgellau, they will drop into the North Wales Senior Plate, where they have been handed a bye to the third round of the competition.

Colwyn Bay will take on Cobra in the second round of the Senior Plate competition, while Dinbych entertain Rhyl and Bala have been handed a bye.

After their impressive win over higher league opposition Welshpool in the last round, Abergele have been rewarded with another tie against Mid-Wales foes in Newtown.

Machynlleth will face Harlech.

Welshpool drop into the North Wales Inter Plate and have drawn Bangor, while Wrexham have landed a bye.

NORTH WALES SENIOR PLATE ROUND TWO: Cobra v Colwyn Bay, Dinbych v Rhyl, Bro Ffestiniog or Dolgellau v Bye, Bala v Bye. NORTH WALES INTER CUP: Abergele v Newtown, Machynlleth v Harlech. NORTH WALES INTER PLATE: Welshpool v Bangor, Wrexham v Bye.
