Nalco reports sales.

Second quarter and year-to-date sales and earnings for Nalco, Naperville, IL, were recently reported. Sales for the first six months of 1992 increased 14% to $666.8 million, up from $585.8 million on the strength of double-digit increases from the Absorbent Chemicals and Pulp and Paper Chemicals Groups. Earnings for the first half rose 8% to $64.4 million.

Sales for the second quarter of 1992 showed a 7% increase, rising to $340.3 million. Earnings for the quarter were posted at $36.4 million, up 10% from a year ago.
