 NUCLEAR METALS, INC. TO CONDUCT ENVIRONMENTAL REMEDIATION PROGRAM
 CONCORD, Mass., June 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Nuclear Metals, Inc. (NASDAQ: NUCM), a manufacturer of specialized metal products, today announced it received a $700,000 Air Force contract to manufacture and assemble equipment that will be utilized to clean and reprocess Depleted Uranium (DU) Low Level Radioactive Waste (LLW) in the catchment site of the test firing range at Eglin AFB. This is a 16-month effort which includes the training of Eglin personnel in the operation and use of the equipment.
 NMI's LLW management team has been providing services related to environmental remediation and has successfully competed several efforts over the last two years. The Eglin effort is significant because it allows NMI to actively address the product life cycle loop and provide an outlet for the recycle and reuse of DU.
