 NU-KOTE INTERNATIONAL ACQUIRES INTERNATIONAL COMMUNICATION MATERIALS
 DALLAS, Feb. 25 /PRNewswire/ -- Nu-kote International, Inc., a major office products manufacturer, announced today the acquisition of International Communication Materials Inc. (ICMI).
 Nu-kote will operate the company as a wholly owned subsidiary. Robert W. Blair, founder of ICMI, will remain as president and chief executive officer. The purchase price was not disclosed.
 ICMI, located in Connellsville, Pa., is one of the largest independent manufacturers and distributors of imaging systems toners, developers and related accessories. The company is known for its strong commitment to research and development, which has enabled them to manufacture quality products for use in laser printers, copiers, facsimiles, desk top publishing and other imaging apparatus. Products are marketed primarily to Original Equipment Manufacturers, distributors and copier dealers.
 Larry Holswade, Nu-kote International's president, said, "The acquisition of ICMI is a strategic move designed to capitalize on the explosive growth in the non-impact supplies market."
 Holswade added: "Nu-kote has a long-term commitment to providing its broad distribution base with the products and programs necessary to insure their success."
 Dallas-based Nu-kote International is a leader in the engineering, manufacturing and marketing of imaging products. The company's 1991 sales were approximately $150 million. The company also has sales offices in Huntington Beach, Calif., Chicago and Rochester, N.Y.; and manufacturing facilities in Bardstown, Ky., Rochester, N.Y., and Portland, Tenn.; and an export office in Miami.
