NTT Com links up with Computer Associates of U.S.
Japanese telecommunications carrier NTT Communications Corp. (NTT Com) and U.S. software house Computer Associates International Inc. (CA) announced Thursday a collaboration in information technology services for large corporations.
The move will enable the NTT Group company to expand its reach from long-distance and international telecommunications services to cover also corporate information management.
Their collaboration is in the area of so-called enterprise management services (EMS) to help provide clients with integrated management of heterogeneous information systems by way of consulting, design, implementation and outsourcing services, the two companies said.

NTT Com plans to start full-scale EMS operations in April 2000, they said.
CA will provide NTT Com with enterprise management expertise comprised of training, education and support as well its extensive range of products, according to the companies.
