NPT Power & Influence Top 50 Gala spotlighted sector movers and shakers.

Nonprofit leaders from around the country gathered at the National Press Club in Washington, D.C., on Sept. 18 for the annual The NonProfit Times' Power and Influence Top 50 Gala.

Unveiled annually in the Aug. 1 edition of The Nonprofit Times, the Power & Influence Top 50 recognizes leaders who help move the sector forward. Among the returning honorees in attendance this year were Diana Aviv of Independent Sector, Donna Butts of Generations United, Tim Delaney of the National Council of Nonprofits, and Gregory Lewis of the True Colors Fund.

Among the first-time honorees were Sonya Campion of the Campion Foundation, Michael Chatman of the Community Foundation of the Ozarks, Elizabeth Darling of the OneStar Foundation and Jacob Harold of GuideStar.

Henry Timms of the 92nd Street Y in New York City was the winner of the second annual NPT Influencer of the Year award for his work with #GivingTuesday.
