NOW HANNIBAL TO PLAY BRADY.
SIR Anthony Hopkins is being lined up to portray evil killer Ian Brady in a Hollywood film on the Moors Murderer.
Oscar-winner Hopkins, who played Hannibal Lecter in 1991 thriller The Silence of the Lambs, is said to be considering the offer. The film is to be based on a book called Searching For Daddy by journalist Chrstine Hart who believed Brady was her father - until she eventually found her real dad, who was also a criminal.
Two Hollywood studios are bidding for the film rights, while Hopkins' manage-ment company has been approached about him taking the role. Producers want Sienna Miller to play the role of Christine. The real Miss Hart said: "Hopkins was suggested and his people have been approached. I've written more scenes... it's like baring your soul."
Giovanni di Stefano, who represents Brady and Miss Hart, said: "We have two studios seriously interested and we have approached Hopkins." Brady murdered five children with Myra Hindley in the mid-60s. He is currently at Ashworth high security hospital, where he wants to die and is being force-fed by tube.
