NOVATEC PLASTICS ANNOUNCES NEW UL APPROVALS

EATONTOWN, N.J., Dec. 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Novatec Plastics & Chemicals Co., Inc. has announced that relative thermal index testing has been conducted by Underwriters Laboratory for Novablend rigid PVC injection molding compounds.
Phillip Friedman, President and CEO of Novatec Plastics, said, "This series of compounds has obtained ratings of 95 degrees Celsius to 105 degrees C, making these products ideal for electrical and business equipment markets, wiring devices and any other applications requiring retention of physical properties at elevated temperatures. These ratings are significantly higher than any rigid PVC injection molding compounds that are currently available."
Tina Palombo, Director of Sales and Marketing at Novatec, stated, "The series consists of three compounds with flow and impact modifications tailored to meet our customers' requirements. With these recent approvals and the UL V-O ratings we already had, we are in a position to satisfy the diverse needs our customers demand of a custom compounder.
