NOVACARE APPOINTS RENSCHLER PRESIDENT OF REHABILITATION HOSPITALS AND DIXON PRESIDENT OF CONTRACT SERVICES GROUP

 KING OF PRUSSIA, Pa., Jan. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- NovaCare, Inc. (NYSE: NOV) announced today that C. Arnold Renschler, M.D., was appointed president and general manager of the company's rehabilitation hospital business, with responsibility for the development of NovaCare's subacute products and the further integration of the company's continuum of rehabilitation services for nursing home and managed care customers. Dr. Renschler has served as president and general manager of NovaCare's Contract Services Group since 1990.
 Daryl A. Dixon, formerly vice president of field operations for the Contract Services Group, was appointed president and general manager of the Contract Services Group.
