NOVA ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF PROTOTYPE 'NOVABED'
NOVA ANNOUNCES COMPLETION OF PROTOTYPE 'NOVABED' HAUPPAUGE, N.Y., Nov. 3 /PRNewswire/ -- NOVA (Nova Technologies,
Inc. /OTC Bulletin Board: NOTL/), announced today that it has essentially completed the construction of three prototype units of its "NOVABED" Patient Transfer System. With this patented patient bed- transfer system a single attendant (or in some cases the patient alone) can, with the push of a button on a hand-held pendant, transfer the patient to and from a specialized bed and wheelchair. Upon manual insertion of the wheelchair backrest, the chair can be released from the bed.
Nova currently plans to conduct initial Beta tests with one of its prototype units in an institutional setting within approximately one month and, in addition, plans to introduce the "NOVABED" Patient Transfer System to the home healthcare business community at the National Home Healthcare Exposition to be held in Atlanta on Nov. 18 through Nov. 21, 1992. -0- 11/3/92 /CONTACT: Harold J.
