NORWALK COMPANY TO INSTALL NATURAL GAS VEHICLE FUELING STATION AT CHRYSLER
 NORWALK, Conn., Oct. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Norwalk Company, Inc., a leader in the design and manufacture of natural gas vehicle (NGV) fueling systems, today announced an agreement with Chrysler Corporation (NYSE: C) to install an NGV fueling station at the automaker's Detroit plant.
 The facility is expected to be operational in October 1992.
 Arthur McCauley, chairman and president of Norwalk Company, said, "The Chrysler contract represents Norwalk's ongoing commitment to support the vehicle manufacturers in their development of production models fueled by natural gas. We delight in the continued confidence of Chrysler in Norwalk's design, engineering and product reliability."
 Norwalk Company has provided equipment for Ford Motor Comany, General Motors (GM) and Chrysler vehicle proving grounds, GM Research and Development Center and PAS/Triad development and production facilities. The scope of the contract includes Norwalk's CHARGER Model NQ-SV4 compressor, electronic gas dispenser, dryer and gas storage and controls.
 Norwalk Company, Inc., located in South Norwalk, Conn., since 1864, is an original equipment manufacturer of compressors for various molecular-weight gases. Norwalk is recognized internationally as the foremost provider of natural gas fueling equipment. It serves the petrochemical, specialty gas and alternate fuel industries around the world.
 Norwalk Company entered the compressed natural gas market in 1973 with a range of equipment designed and engineered specifically for use in NGV fueling stations. To date, more than 400 units have been sold and installed worldwide.
