NORTHWEST AIRLINES REDUCES FARES IN DOMESTIC AND SELECT INTERNATIONAL MARKETS

MINNEAPOLIS, April 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Northwest Airlines has announced it will reduce fares in both domestic and select trans- Atlantic markets by as much as 35 percent effective today.
Tickets for travel within North America must be purchased by April 23 for travel through June 30 and must be purchased 14 days prior to departure. Restrictions for trans-Atlantic fares vary by market. All tickets are non-refundable, and other restrictions apply.
For example, passengers can fly round-trip for as little as $169 each way between Boston and Seattle, a savings of 35 percent off current levels, and for $309 each way from Washington to Amsterdam, a savings of 23 percent off current levels.
