NORTHERN ALLIANCE.

SEATON Delaval goalkeeper Niall Harrison is a doubt for the Red Devils' Newcastle Building Society Premier Division clash against Whickham SC as he's expected to be involved in the Blyth Spartans squad for their big FA Cup tie against Birmingham City.

Kris Willis could be the only other absentee as the Phillips brothers have overcome injuries and are expected to be in the squad.

Whickham have no suspension worries for the game, while Ashington Colliers hope to welcome Andrew Carr, Jamie Patterson and David McKenzie back for their trip to Killingworth Station.

Walker Central hope to be at full strength, with both goalkeepers back to full fitness and George Weatherly displaying no reaction to his hamstring problem, so he should go into the side that faces North Shields Athletic.

The festive break has given many players the chance to overcome injury worries and Blyth Town should be at full strength as they take on Wallington looking to take their big winning run into the New Year.

Carlisle City host Hebburn Reyrolle and Red House Farm play Northbank Carlisle, while in the quarter-finals of the Bay Plastics George Dobbins League Cup, Shankhouse sweeper Richie Atkinson could return to a squad missing a number of key individuals including Chris Rue and Marty Roper, who is cup-tied, against Whitley Bay A, and Rutherford have a tricky tie against promotion-chasing AFC Newbiggin.

The Bay Plastics Second Division game at Wideopen is cancelled, New Fordley's Blue Fin Sports Bill Gardner Cup tie against Grainger Park is reversed and in the Nike Division One, Newcastle University game against Cramlington Town has also switched venue.
