NORTH CAROLINA ASSOCIATION OF URBAN BANKERS ANNUAL CONFERENCE

 DURHAM, N.C. April 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The North Carolina Association of Urban Bankers d/b/a/ Bankers Educational Society, Inc. (NCAUB/BESI) will sponsor its Seventeenth Annual Conference in Myrtle Beach, S.C. April 22-25, at the Sand Dunes/Ocean Dunes Resort. The theme of the annual conference is "Facing Challenges and Finding Opportunities." Mr. Frank Dunn, chairman and chief executive officer of First Union National Bank of North Carolina, will be the kickoff luncheon speaker on Friday, April 23.
 Workshops will be presented on Saturday morning, April 24, addressing survival techniques through "Paradigms, Education and Networking" conducted by Mr. Clarence Fisher, First Union National Bank of North Carolina, Dr. Robert E. Bridges, Education and Management Consultant, and Mr. Ernest Wendell of Durham Products. On Saturday at 7 p.m., Mr. Willis Hamm, newly elected Commissioner of Human Affairs for the State of South Carolina will be the awards dinner banquet guest speaker.
 The major sponsors of this year's conference are First Union National Bank of North Carolina and Anheuser-Bush Companies.
